Tech visionary Elon Musk has once again captured global attention by unveiling Grok AI’s newest feature — a tool capable of transforming any still image into a short animated video within seconds.
Sharing the update on his platform X (formerly Twitter), Musk wrote, “Long press on any image to turn it into a video! Then customise the prompt to create whatever you can imagine.”
The announcement immediately went viral, as users experimented with photos of landscapes, people, and memes — turning them into living, moving creations. Grok’s AI interprets each photo and predicts possible movements, producing realistic short clips powered by deep neural networks.
Grok AI, developed by xAI — Musk’s artificial intelligence venture — is part of a growing suite that includes text generation, creative writing, and real-time data capabilities. Experts say this update positions Grok as a strong competitor to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.
Musk also teased the upcoming Grok 5, suggesting that it could reach Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) levels soon. “The odds are 10% and rising,” he said, hinting at future upgrades that may redefine how humans and AI interact creatively.
